Twilight Passage

We’re beyond pleased to present Twilight Passage, our very first foudre-aged beer. We aged a spritzy saison in our large, new-to-us French oak foudre for 9 months, before adding in 440lbs each of organic Washington blueberries and Turkish mulberries. The end result showcases all that fruit, pouring a vibrant pomegranate red, with a pink-ish head. This light, effervescent sour offers notes of blueberry, red currant, and pinot noir grapes. Our foudre will continue refilling in a solera style (emptying half the contents and topping up the vessel with more beer), so keep an eye out for future iterations of this one down the line.
