Kernza is a perennial grain developed by @thelandinstitute in 2008. It stands as a beacon of innovative agriculture, offering a promising solution to the environmental challenges facing industrial farming. Kernza differs significantly from conventional annual grains like wheat and corn due to its perennial nature, meaning it regrows year after year without requiring replanting (unlike annual grains, which must be planted yearly). 🌱

Murkury Rising is crafted with a heavy dose of New Zealand-grown Nelson Sauvin, alongside a touch of Nectaron and Pacific Northwest-grown Citra Cryo hops. This mouthwatering brew features bright aromas of papaya, cantaloupe, and guava, complemented by luscious tastes of pineapple sorbet, nectarine, and sweet melon. With its juicy mouthfeel and medium-full body, Murkury Rising delivers a refreshing and indulgent experience—enjoy the array of flavors that rise within each sip of this murky delight!

Behold! 🌾 The newest addition to our brewing headquarters at @purebrewingvista, our grain silo. We’re stoked about this initiative for several reasons. Not only does this silo increase efficiency, but it also reduces our carbon footprint 🌍 by delivering 40,000 pounds of grain at a time vs processing multiple deliveries of 50 lb bags of grain. Cheers to more beer 🍻 and less waste! ♻️
