Pulled from the cellar to accompany the coffee beans aged in the very same rye whiskey barrels, we’re re-releasing our barrel-aged imperial stout, Dualité. Don’t miss the companion coffee beans—rarely available outside of the Philippines—aged in the Dualité barrels with additional organic Ghanaian cocoa and organic Mexican vanilla beans.
The bottle and beans will both be released on Thursday, June 24th at all four taproom locations (including Vista!) as well as for shipping, while supplies last. Check out all the details below.
*Collaboration with Weldwerks Brewing
Rye Whiskey Barrel-aged Imperial Stout with Organic Chocolate & Vanilla
Like yin and yang, or a chocolate cookie filled with vanilla cream, we bring you a balanced but decadent imperial stout, ready for indulging. Aged in rye whiskey barrels with organic Ghanaian cocoa and organic Tahitian vanilla beans, this stout’s jet-black body gives way to aromas of whiskey-soaked lady fingers and fudge. Its flavors of brownie batter, toasted marshmallow, and dark molasses wash through with a velvety mouthfeel. Designed to embody the complementary and contrasting expressions of chocolate and vanilla, we hope you enjoy the beauty of this duality, or should we say, dualité.
Price: $32 / 22oz
Limit: 2 per person
Available June 24th at 9am.
*Collaboration with Mostra Coffee
Rye-Whiskey Barrel-aged Philippine Mindanao Coffee with Organic Cocoa & Vanilla
In collaboration with Mostra, we’re proud to bring you specialty coffee beans from the Mindanao region of the Philippines. Rarely sold outside of the local market, these beans were grown and processed by indigenous farmers who have a special partnership with Mostra and their sourcing partner, Kalsada. The beans were aged in a rye whiskey barrel that recently held Dualité—our Weldwerks collaboration barrel-aged imperial stout with chocolate and vanilla. But that’s not all: the beans were aged together with additional organic Ghanaian cocoa and organic Mexican vanilla beans. These flavors carry through to the roasted coffee. The end result is a dark roast with notes of bourbon soaked peaches, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate morsels.
Price: $30 / 12oz
Limit: 2 per person
