Our next can release features two brand new brews. First up is a murky double IPA with tropical hop flavors, and second is our second-ever smoothie-style sour!

Murky Double IPA with Mosaic, Cashmere, Sabro & Sabro Cryo Hops
8.3% ABV

Let your taste buds wander through verdant jungles with our new tiki-inspired creation. This murky double IPA is loaded with Mosaic, Cashmere, Sabro, and Sabro Cryo hops, which together create a depth of tropical fruit flavor—without any fruit added. Notes of freshly chopped pineapple, toasted coconut, kiwi, guava and candied lemon-lime will sweep your palate into a lush oasis.

PRACTICAL ELEGANCE

Smoothie-Style Sour Ale with Cherry & Raspberry
6% ABV

Presenting our second-ever smoothie-style sour, Practical Elegance. Built on a kettle sour base, this brew dons a cloudy magenta appearance and smoothie-like mouthfeel thanks to the plentiful addition of organic cherry and raspberry purees, which were swirled into suspension after fermentation. Wafts of cherry pie and boysenberry give way to flavors of raspberry sorbet, berry medley and meyer lemon; its thick body is filled with perfectly complementary elements of tartness and sweetness. Indulge in this elegantly crafted creation in the afternoon hours…or for breakfast!

*IMPORTANT* Due to the nature of this beer and its residual fruit sugars, the cans need to stay COLD at all times. Note, this beer is not for saving! Consume as soon as possible for optimal flavor.

Lastly, a note for taproom enjoyment: We’ve been working on our smoothie-style beers for you all, and we are excited to feature Practical Elegance two different ways in our taprooms this week: directly from the can, and as a frozen slushie version. The beer is super thick thanks to its load of fresh fruit, so we cannot pour it on draft. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

TAPROOM RELEASE DETAILS

The cans will be released at all four taproom locations on Thursday, August 26th. They will be released online at 9am, and they will be available for pickup at all four taproom locations when our taprooms open at 12pm (Miramar, Balboa Park, and Carlsbad) and 3pm (Vista). In other words, you can purchase online OR in person, but please note the cans will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis starting with the online orders at 9am.

If you would like to order and pay online for pickup, please place your order at the location where you plan to pickup.

• Your order is not complete until you check out (no orders are held in shopping cart).
• At time of purchase you can select your pickup day: same day, next day, or two days out. You must pick up on your selected day and time.
• If you would like to designate someone else to pickup your order, please place your online order under their name. The name of the person picking up needs to match the name on the order.

 

SHIPPING RELEASE DETAILS

A limited amount of both cans will be released online for California and Nevada shipping at 9am on Thursday, August 26th. They will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
