Can Release: Mantra & Cup of Gold

Our next can release features two new brews! We’ve got a bine- and vine-inspired triple IPA as well as a double IPA version of our fan-favorite murky collaboration with Alvarado Street Brewery.

The cans will be released on Thursday, May 6th at all four taproom locations (including Vista!) as well as for CA & NV shipping. Check out all the details below.

MANTRA

West Coast Triple IPA with Sauvignon Blanc Grapes & Nelson Sauvin Hops
10.2% ABV

Beer and wine lovers unite with our bine- and vine-inspired creation, Mantra. Nelson Sauvin hops—named for the Sauvignon Blanc grape—and pressed Sauvignon Blanc grapes themselves were added to this West Coast triple IPA, infusing it with this grape varietal’s classic characteristics. Aromas of gooseberry, white peach and honeydew commingle with flavors of pomelo and fuji apple. Refreshing with a tannin-like finish, Mantra will simultaneously satisfy your cravings for both beer and wine.

CUP OF GOLD

Murky Double IPA with Strata & Mosaic Hops
8.4% ABV

This year, we’re taking our fourth annual Cannery Row collaboration with Alvarado Street to the next level. Another ode to Steinbeck, Cup of Gold is a double IPA bountifully hopped with Strata and Mosaic. Expect a tropical bouquet of pineapple, guava, and cherimoya on the nose, followed by tangelo and mango on the palette. With that sweet flavor and soft golden body, you’ll want to refill your cup.

TAPROOM RELEASE DETAILS

The cans will be released at all four taproom locations on Thursday, May 6th. They will be released online at 9am, and they will be available for pickup at all four taproom locations when our taprooms open at 12pm (Miramar, Balboa Park, and Carlsbad) and 3pm (Vista). In other words, you can purchase online OR in person, but please note the cans will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis starting with the online orders at 9am.

If you would like to order and pay online for pickup, please place your order at the location where you plan to pickup.

• Your order is not complete until you check out (no orders are held in shopping cart).
• At time of purchase you can select your pickup day: same day, next day, or two days out. You must pick up on your selected day and time.
• If you would like to designate someone else to pickup your order, please place your online order under their name. The name of the person picking up needs to match the name on the order.

 

SHIPPING RELEASE DETAILS

A limited amount of both cans will be released online for California and Nevada shipping at 9am on Thursday, May 6th. They will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
