Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Double Vanilla
Bourbon and vanilla is a match made in heaven, so a double dose of vanilla beans is the perfect addition to our bourbon barrel-aged stout, Planifolia. Using both organic Mexican and Tahitian vanilla beans produces a rich and well-rounded flavor that shines through this hand-selected blend of stout aged in Breckenridge bourbon barrels. This second batch of Planifolia exudes deep floral, toffee and oak aromas, with flavors reminiscent of a perfect evening next to the campfire: toasted marshmallow, fudge, and bourbon.

Méthode Traditionnelle – 3 Year Blend
Oak Barrel-Aged Sour Beer
Introducing batch #3 of our Méthode Traditionnelle (M.T. III)! This blend of one-, two-, and three-year-old spontaneously fermented ales was produced in San Diego county and is inspired by the Belgian process of making traditional lambic. California-grown pilsner malt and raw, unmalted wheat create the foundation of this blend, which was inoculated solely by wild yeast and microorganisms indigenous to the Miramar area and Mt. Laguna during a Pure lambic camping trip. Warm-aged hops added to the boil provide aromas of funk, Asian pear, and earthiness. High levels of carbonation make for a brew that practically dances on your tongue with tastes of fine cork, bready malt and gooseberry. The bright acidity upfront gives way to a smooth and refined finish that is both dry and refreshing.

The bottles will be released at all 3 taproom locations on Thursday, March 4th. They will be released online at 9am, and they will be available for pickup at all 3 taproom locations starting when our taprooms open at 12pm (Balboa Park & Carlsbad) and 2pm (Miramar). In other words, you can purchase online OR in person, but please note the cans will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis starting with the online orders at 9am.
