Our next bottle release features a brand new big and hoppy barleywine.

The bottles will be released on Thursday, July 8th at all four taproom locations (including Vista!) as well as for CA & NV shipping. Check out all the details below.

FORGOTTEN BRILLIANCE

Barleywine
12.3% ABV

We proudly present our first-ever barleywine, Forgotten Brilliance, a tribute to the big, hoppy American barleywines as well as vintage English ales of yore. This ale features Centennial, Amarillo, and Cascade Cryo hops over a hearty canvas of Maris Otter and English crystal malts. It went through an extended three-hour boil to create a sturdy backbone that holds nearly 100 IBUs of hops that will age gracefully for decades to come. This complex ale has aromas of almond, fig, quince paste, and dry herbs. Flavors of toffee, grapefruit, cocktail cherries and marble rye bread intermingle with floral and resinous notes. Its deep mahogany color with ruby red hues, medium-full body, and firm bitterness make for an experience not to be forgotten.

TAPROOM RELEASE DETAILS

The bottles will be released at all four taproom locations on Thursday, July 8th. They will be released online at 9am, and they will be available for pickup at all four taproom locations when our taprooms open at 12pm (Miramar, Balboa Park, and Carlsbad) and 3pm (Vista). In other words, you can purchase online OR in person, but please note the bottles will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis starting with the online orders at 9am.

If you would like to order and pay online for pickup, please place your order at the location where you plan to pickup.

• Your order is not complete until you check out (no orders are held in shopping cart).
• At time of purchase you can select your pickup day: same day, next day, or two days out. You must pick up on your selected day and time.
• If you would like to designate someone else to pickup your order, please place your online order under their name. The name of the person picking up needs to match the name on the order.

 

SHIPPING RELEASE DETAILS

A limited amount of bottles will be released online for California and Nevada shipping at 9am on Thursday, July 8th. They will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
