Introducing the second in our brand new series of core stouts, as well as a special bag of coffee beans–the same beans that were added to the beer!

The bottle and beans will both be released on Thursday, May 13th at all four taproom locations (including Vista!) as well as for shipping. Check out all the details below.

Imperial Stout with Coffee & Hazelnuts

Introducing the second in our new series of core stouts, Lost Monarch. We added organic Huehuetenango coffee from Guatemala (roasted by our friends at Mostra) and organic Oregon hazelnuts to this imperial stout, resulting in a myriad of aromas including nutty coffee, pizzelle, vanilla, bakers chocolate and toffee. Flavors of rich hazelnut and mocha mingle among a decadent, velvety mouthfeel.

Organic Guatemala Huehuetenango

These organic coffee beans come to us from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. They are grown by a co-op of small farmers that are committed to sustainable agricultural practices and delivering the highest quality product possible. State-side, our friends at Mostra Coffee roasted the beans for us to add to our Lost Monarch imperial stout. Expect a full-bodied dark roast with notes of fudge, marshmallow, toasted hazelnuts, cherry, and campfire.

TAPROOM RELEASE DETAILS

The bottles and beans will be released at all four taproom locations on Thursday, May 13th. They will be released online at 9am, and they will be available for pickup at all four taproom locations when our taprooms open at 12pm (Miramar, Balboa Park, and Carlsbad) and 3pm (Vista). In other words, you can purchase online OR in person, but please note the bottles and beans will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis starting with the online orders at 9am.

If you would like to order and pay online for pickup, please place your order at the location where you plan to pickup.

• Your order is not complete until you check out (no orders are held in shopping cart).
• At time of purchase you can select your pickup day: same day, next day, or two days out. You must pick up on your selected day and time.
• If you would like to designate someone else to pickup your order, please place your online order under their name. The name of the person picking up needs to match the name on the order.

 

SHIPPING RELEASE DETAILS

A limited amount of bottles and beans will be released online for shipping at 9am on Thursday, May 13th. The bottles will be available for California and Nevada shipping only, and the beans will be available for shipping anywhere in the US. They will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
