Janet’s Brown Ale is the name of the beer’s original recipe—a classic from the early days of homebrewing that has since been brewed by countless breweries. The recipe was created by Mike “Tasty” McDole, a hugely influential figure in the homebrewing community who passed away a few years ago. This beer is an homage to Tasty and his lasting impact on the craft.

Throughout the year, in addition to our specialty can and bottle releases, we release a variety of draft-only beers on tap. From lagers and pale ales to sours and more, there’s always something to discover at Pure Project! Check your local tap list to explore our current offerings.
