Rind Over Matter

Rind Over Matter is a fruited rice ale, built on a foundation of flaked rice and Admiral Pilsner malt before adding 10 gallons of calamansi puree. The calamansi, a citrus hybrid-fruit of mandarin and kumquat, brings a bright tartness that carries notes of lime leaf, lemon, and passionfruit on the nose. Light and approachable at 5.1% ABV, it sips with flavors of lemon custard, lime zest, and a subtle breadiness. Pouring a straw yellow with a white head, this unique beer is crisp, refreshing, and quietly complex.
