We’ve partnered with WILDCOAST to protect endangered Leatherback sea turtle nests on the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico. Every can of Noc-Turtle murky IPA supports WILDCOAST’s conservation efforts to protect the nests of these gentle ocean giants, whose current population in the area has declined by an alarming 90%.

MORE ABOUT THE TURTLE CONSERVATION PROJECT:
In the coastal state of Oaxaca, Mexico, a remarkable story of conservation is unfolding—a tale of two sea turtles, one species saved from the brink and another in desperate need of a helping hand.
Once near extinction, olive ridley sea turtles have made a remarkable comeback thanks to decades of protection, including WILDCOAST’s successful campaigns and nest monitoring. At Morro Ayuta alone, nearly 164 million hatchlings have emerged since 2016.
Now, WILDCOAST is focusing on the critically endangered Eastern Pacific leatherback. The world’s largest turtle, these ocean giants are critically endangered in the region, with their population down by a staggering 90%. There are approximately 92 leatherback nests on the beaches of the Laguna de Chacahua sanctuary that are incredibly vulnerable to poaching and climate change.
Through this partnership with Pure Project Brewing and your support, WILDCOAST is launching a new project to protect 100% of these precious leatherback nests. By monitoring the beaches and relocating nests to protected enclosures, we can give these critically endangered turtles a fighting chance.
