Can Release: Gaia & Dankness Rising

Making its debut in cans is a very special collaboration with the ladies of Pure! Brewed for the first time for Women’s Brew Day 2020, this Belgian-style golden strong was such a hit when it was on draft that we decided to bring it back in cans. We are also excited to release a brand new West Coast double IPA collaboration with our friends at Cellarmaker Brewing.

The cans will be released on Thursday, July 29th at all four taproom locations as well as for CA & NV shipping. Check out all the details below.

GAIA

Belgian-Style Golden Strong Ale
8.5% ABV

Together with the ladies of Pure, we proudly present Gaia—a wonderfully strong Belgian-style golden ale. Brewed originally for Women’s Brew Day 2020, this fan-favorite makes its debut in cans. Named in honor of Mother Earth, and brewed in homage to the classic styles that were popularized in Belgium, this golden beauty is built on a base of Weyermann Barke Pilsner malt, Hallertau Mittelfruh hops, and Belgian Trappist yeast. The result is an effervescent brew filled with flavors and aromas of banana bread, honey, dried apricot, white pepper, and lavender.

DANKNESS RISING

*Collaboration with Cellarmaker Brewing
Unfiltered West Coast Double IPA with Nelson Sauvin, Strata, & Centennial Hops
8.3% ABV

We teamed up with our friends at Cellarmaker Brewing to bring you this unfiltered West Coast double IPA. Dankness Rising features Nelson Sauvin, Strata and Centennial hops over a base of California-grown Admiral Pilsner malt, producing a pale golden ale with a dry body and clean bitterness. Wafts of resin, pear, pineapple and lychee give way to flavors of orange zest, cantaloupe and fuzzy peach skin.

TAPROOM RELEASE DETAILS

The cans will be released at all four taproom locations on Thursday, July 29. They will be released online at 9am, and they will be available for pickup at all four taproom locations when our taprooms open at 12pm (Miramar, Balboa Park, and Carlsbad) and 3pm (Vista). In other words, you can purchase online OR in person, but please note the cans will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis starting with the online orders at 9am.

If you would like to order and pay online for pickup, please place your order at the location where you plan to pickup.

• Your order is not complete until you check out (no orders are held in shopping cart).
• At time of purchase you can select your pickup day: same day, next day, or two days out. You must pick up on your selected day and time.
• If you would like to designate someone else to pickup your order, please place your online order under their name. The name of the person picking up needs to match the name on the order.

 

SHIPPING RELEASE DETAILS

A limited amount of both cans will be released online for California and Nevada shipping at 9am on Thursday, July 29. They will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
