Pure Project Label Art Exhibit + Contest
the artists have stepped forward
For those who are just tuning in…We called for artists and they answered. These participants will be entering their masterpieces into a label art contest, hosted by us! All of the art submissions shall creatively repurpose unused Pure beer labels.
AND YOU ARE INVITED TO THE ART EXHIBIT + contest!
We are excited to host our first-ever label art exhibit + contest to showcase and judge the label art entries, and everyone’s invited!
Come enjoy the unique art pieces with a pint in hand, and cast your vote for the “People’s Choice” winner!
When: Sunday May 22nd, 12-5pm
Where: Pure Project Balboa Park Biergarten
CONTEST DETAILS
judging:
- Judging will be conducted by a 5-6 person panel as well as by artists who have entered the contest.
- Entrants will be allowed to cast one vote each.
- Guests of the taproom will be able to cast their vote for the “People’s Choice” winner.
prizes:
- There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize, as well as a “People’s Choice” award. Prize details TBA.
NOTES FOR THE ARTISTS
reminders:
- An entry submission form must be received by May 1, 2022.
- The physical art piece must be present in the Pure Project Balboa Park Biergarten on May 22, 2022 for the exhibition (from approximately 11am-5pm); winners will be announced on that day.
design requirements:
- The art submission must fall into one of the following categories: painting, graphic design, illustration, sculpture, fashion, or craft art.
- The art submission must visibly show a portion of at least 20 of the Pure can labels.
- Additional materials may be used at the artist’s discretion; artists are encouraged to use as much upcycled and reused materials as possible (and judges will consider this in their scoring).
