RELEASE DETAILS:
The bottles will be released at all 3 tap room locations on Thursday, October 1st.

They will be released online at 10am, and they will be available for pickup at all 3 tap room locations starting when our tap rooms open at 11am. In other words, you can purchase online OR in person, but please note the bottles will be sold on a first come, first served basis starting with the online orders at 10am. The bottles will remain on sale until they sell out.

Imperial Stout with Banana, Marshmallow & Cacao

Tropical Nightfall is a velvety Imperial Stout that dons a midnight black hue and reveals unique notes along the sensory journey. With the addition of organic Sri Lanka bananas during primary fermentation plus wild Thai bananas, organic cacao from Ghana, and marshmallow during conditioning, the flavors of this beer echoes childhood memories of chocolate covered bananas. Full body with velvety mouthfeel, allowing this stout to warm up reveals all the complex nuances of baker’s chocolate, fudge, and amaretto-like flavors.

MADELINE
Barrel Aged Mixed Fermentation Farmhouse Saison
7% ABV

One of the very first beers we brewed here at Pure Project, Madeline is inspired by the old school Farmhouse Saisons of Wallonia, the French speaking part of Belgium. Madeline is a blend of mixed fermentation Saisons aged in French oak barrels. Starting with one base beer, we separate it to barrel age with 3 different mixed cultures, and then blend these 3 beers back into the final product in bottles. One of the cultures we use is a native California wild yeast, domesticated from unpasteurized apple juice from Placerville, CA.

The cultures we use in Madeline have changed a bit over time, but they ultimately produce a light and effervescent brew with the color of golden straw. Aromas and flavors of hay, pineapple and farmhouse funk emerge upfront along with noticeable tartness over a background of oak.
