Bottle Release: Situational Gravity & Emmeline

Situational Gravity, our velvety, decadent imperial stout with coffee and organic Tahitian vanilla beans, is back. Plus, for the first time, we’ve bottled Emmeline, our fan-favorite house saison that features a rotating hop (this batch has Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand!).

The bottles will be released on Thursday, February 16th at all five taproom locations as well as for California shipping. Check out all the details below.

SITUATIONAL GRAVITY

Imperial Stout with Coffee & Vanilla
11.5% ABV

Situational Gravity makes a special return! For this decadent brew, we added a blend of Brazilian and Colombian coffees roasted by our friends at Steady State and organic Tahitian vanilla beans, resulting in a multi-faceted sensory experience. Aromas of freshly roasted coffee, vanilla, and bitter chocolate give way to flavors of toasty coffee, blueberry, and cake batter amidst a full body and velvety mouthfeel.

EMMELINE

Farmhouse Saison with Nelson Sauvin Hops
6.0% ABV

Emmeline is our house saison that features a rotating hop in every batch. And for the first time ever, it’s available in bottles! This Pure original is created with our house saison yeast blend—a tri-grain blend of Admiral Pilsner, flaked oats, and unmalted wheat—and New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops as our rotating hop. Emmeline is not only unique in that it has a rotating hop, it’s also the only beer we make here at Pure that has hops added into the mash. Scents of gooseberry, kumquat, and geranium rise from its radiant straw-colored body, while flavors of pear, passion fruit, and dehydrated lime shine through a light mouthfeel with a dry finish.

TAPROOM RELEASE DETAILS

The bottles will be available for purchase online starting at 9am on Thursday, February 16th, and available for pickup at all five taproom locations when doors open at 12pm.

If you would like to place an order online for pickup, please place your order for the taproom location where you plan to pickup from (Carlsbad, Vista, Miramar, Balboa Park, or North Park).

• Your order is not complete until you check out (no orders are held in shopping cart).
• At time of purchase you can select your pickup day: same day, next day, or two days out. You must pick up on your selected day and time.
• If you would like to designate someone else to pickup your order, please place your online order under their name. The name of the person picking up needs to match the name on the order.

 

SHIPPING RELEASE DETAILS

A limited amount of bottles will be released online for California shipping. They will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis starting at 9am on Thursday, February 16th. Orders placed before noon will ship overnight for Friday delivery.
