Inspired by travels in New Zealand, we worked with our friends at Thorn Brewing to bring you Shirebourn: a Pilsner built with ingredients that have made their way from NZ to SD!

New Zealand Pilsner w/ Nelson Sauvin & Southern Cross Hops

Inspired by the rolling hills of New Zealand during a hop selection trip earlier this year, we teamed up with our friends at Thorn Brewing to deliver this brand new hoppy Pilsner. We started with a base of Skagit NZ-151 malt, a two-row spring variety bred by Washington State University. We then added hand-selected hops to deliver notes of sweet fruit like white grape, honeydew, and a subtle candy lemon to this incredibly approachable beer.
