Warehouse Manager

Pure Project is currently recruiting for a talented individual to help move, manage, and maintain our warehouse inventory.
Job Details:
  • Organize and monitor finished goods and inventory using asset tracking
  • Adjust incoming and outgoing inventory levels correctly using Ekos
  • Meet weekly with the Logistics Manager to track inventory of Finished Goods
  • Coordinate all orders and deliveries directly with the Logistics Manager
  • Fulfill orders coming in from Taprooms, Wholesale, and direct-to-consumer
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and policies
  • Operate forklift in order to move goods, supplies and equipment around the facility safely and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and report all equipment problems, violations, or substandard practices to the Logistics Manager immediately
  • Design, establish and maintain a daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and maintenance schedule
    • Direct production team to ensure the maintenance schedules are completed regularly and to the appropriate standard
    • Consult weekly cleaning and maintenance schedules and ensure they are completed regularly and to the appropriate standard
  • Create and maintain detailed SOP’s for recurring department tasks
  • Monitor preventative maintenance on a weekly/monthly basis as required and follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules
  • Make recommendations to the supervisor for maintenance, repair and upkeep of the facility and all equipment
  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes in order to design and enforce policies, procedures and current developments in local, state and federal laws applicable to warehousing, material handling, shipping requirements, health standards, etc.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Production Brewery or warehouse
  • Must reside in San Diego County
  • Candidates with experience in distribution, logistics, transportation and management are preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
  • Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow and operating procedures
  • Strong forklift operating abilities
  • Shipping experience, Shopify, GLS and UPS experience a plus
  • Advanced computer skills with Google Apps
  • Ekos and Slack experience is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and manage stressful circumstances associated with a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with Team Members, customers and vendors
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish goals
  • Must be self-motivated and attention focused to solve problems as needed
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 160 pounds
  • Spending extended periods in cold storage
  • Working with and around moving machinery including forklift
